The MSD 7AL-2 Plus Ignition Control is a high-performance ignition system designed for racing applications. It features a built-in 2-step rev control and a diagnostic LED, delivering full power at any RPM. This ignition operates on 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines and utilizes capacitive discharge (CD) technology for multiple-spark discharge, enhancing throttle response and launch consistency.
- Built-in 2-Step Rev Control: Allows for two different rev limits, one for over-rev protection and another for consistent launches.
- Multiple-Spark Discharge Circuitry: Provides multiple sparks per cycle, improving throttle response and off-corner performance.
- Diagnostic LED: Flashes when the coil fires, confirming proper ignition system function.
