    Overall quality?

Posted by FM on Jan 5th 2024

_My hands are XL, I ordered 3X for arthritic finger width space. While that finger is extremely tight, the others are overly SNUG and actually slows blood circulation, and no I'm not making a fist to make these tight. _Material quality. Fair, I don't expect these to last more than 3-5 years of winter riding. I find using a plastic rejuvenation liquid (not saying the brand) does keep them pliable longer. _Warmth quality? Average. With 250 grams of Thinsulate on the wind side, these gloves should be warmer than my 100 gram jeans... NOT! About 1.5 hours of expressway riding (GL1500 windshield) my hands need to be warmed up. I can deal with "COLD" but these gloves are nearing that term. Other gloves I've ridden in minus 20*F, I doubt these mittens will make ZERO degrees Fahrenheit. _Overall flexibility is avg/good, the only issue is the finger split, it's restrictive. Rather difficult to reach for the brake & clutch levers using either paired fingers. _Air infiltration? Touring motorcycle riding in 30*F, there's cold air seepage in some seams, not all. Seam Sealer should be used. _Recommend? I really cannot say, hence my AVERAGE rating. You'll have to judge by my review for your needs.
