Sizing Guidelines for Dirt Bike Riding Gear for Adults and Youth
This issue presents a technical challenge, as it involves covering two distinct body parts with different size considerations. Specifically, pants require measurements in inches, while jerseys are sized as Small, Medium, Large, and beyond.
For effective sizing estimation, it's essential to note that motocross jerseys and pants are designed to be paired from the factory, with each pant size having a corresponding jersey size. The only exceptions occur when a rider intends to use pressure suits or body armor underneath their jersey. In such cases, we recommend going up by at least one to two sizes from the rider's regular jersey size.
The standard size match is provided below, mainly beneficial if you already have knowledge of your pant size. However, generally most kids clothing is categorized by age, whereas motocross gear is based on measurements. Consequently, it's highly recommended to measure your child to ensure greater accuracy when selecting the appropriate size for the riding gear. Furthermore, to facilitate your decision-making process, we have incorporated a basic guide. It must be emphasized that taking the rider's measurements is the best way to guarantee optimal gear fittings.

For optimal comfort and cooling while riding on the track, motocross gear should have a loose fit. This allows for improved airflow to circulate through the body. It's important to keep in mind that knee braces, and even knee guards, should be worn by all riders, which can take up additional space inside the pant leg. This is why it's common for motocross pants to be baggy from the knee to waist. The extra room allows for ease of movement when standing and sitting during each lap.
