Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, Nickel coated, Stronger than OEM plastic pre-load ring, Larger band clamping area, allowing screw to tighten to OEM torque spec without band bottoming, Adjustment holes in tabs allowing the use of a punch to assist when turning, Shock does not need to be disassembled to install., Will not rotate while in use.
