Built from 6 mm high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this skid plate absorbs impacts rather than transferring shock to your frame and cases. Unlike aluminum alternatives, HDPE flexes on contact, resists permanent deformation, and eliminates the rattling and vibration that aluminum designs are prone to. You get maximum protection at 40% less weight.
